Artisan Artist's Materials Expo “Creative Expression” 2009 at the brand new Santa Fe Convention Center (Santa Fe, NM). “Colorful Flower Portraits”, Saturday, September 19th, 2009; 5PM—8PM. We worked with Aquabord and I demonstrated how to paint watercolors without framing under glass. You could also bring your own subject matter. “Successful Digital Photography of Your 2-D Artwork” lecture/demo for Thousand Oaks Art Association was held Thursday, May 18, 2006. 7–9PM. The lecture was team-taught with husband/photographer, George McCaul.

A one-afternoon Visiting Artist Workshop “Paint a Flower” demo/workshop was held Saturday, May 20th, 2006, 1–4 PM at the Burbank Creative Arts Center.

Ms Hyland did a demonstration of floral portrait painting at the Verdugo Hills Art Association, Friday, February 4th, 2005. The meeting started at 7:30pm and was held at an alternative site (due to flooding of the normal local): St. Luke's Church, Foothill & Rosemont, La Crescenta, CA.

Ms Hyland has her Playboy Roses painting featured in a current edition of: How Did You Paint That? 100 Ways to Paint Still Lifes and Florals, Vol II from International Artist Magazine publishers. Published in early '05.
